QuoteThis vote will be used to shape the future ETC charter proposals. It will end on monday october 1st 2012 at midnight GMT.
1/ Do you want to change the name of ETC ?
Vote options are :
a/Yes
b/No
2/If the name of ETC was to change, what name do you want for the future of ETC :
Vote options are :
a/ WTC
b/ ETC Open
c/ The Wargamer ETC
3/ Shall we allow ETC host organiser to make a profit, turning from the former non profit principle in the last charter ?
Vote option are :
a/Yes
b/No
4/ Shall entry fee be collected by a central part of the ETC organisation ? This would enable a better control how player money is spent, control the potential host organiser profit, and build up a treasury that can be used year to year as insurance and backup to sustain ETC over the years or developp specific projects (like ETC terrain stock).
Vote option are :
a/Yes
b/No
5/ As you've seen form the recent host org bid, the growth of the event seems to naturally lead to some form of separation of events, at least some years. Allowing bids for separate game systems would allow the event to travel more and easier, while at the same time not preventing combined events when a country presents a seriously attractive bid. The next two questions are meant to dig into those options in evaluating the future host potential of this option.
Do you think your nation would ever host the combined event in the next 3 years?
vote options are :
a/Yes
b/No
6/ Do you think your nation would ever host a split event? (a split event could be for example: hosting WFB only. Another example : hosting 40k & FoW).
vote options are :
a/Yes
b/No
7/ Shall we include FoW in ETC charter status ?
vote options are :
a/Yes
b/No
8/ Shall we open ETC charter to future game systems inclusions ?
vote options are :
a/Yes
b/No
9/ Shall we enter in the charter that the event must be held over the course of three days ?
vote options are :
a/Yes
b/No

9) Nej

3) Yes, but only as a buffer against deficits. 10-20% buffer should suffice. Budget should not include wages.
4) In principle yes. But not before an actual ETC organisation has proven that they can handle part of the budget on their own first, in a transparent way. How? I don't know...
5) Yes. I might organize it in Copenhagen in 2015.
6) Yes and no. I would never host the actual event running over two weekends or more. Hosting just WHFB could be an option.
7) No. I'd much rather keep the ORIGINAL spirit of a combined event, than tossing the ball up into the air each year. Including FoW is already somewhat forcing the splitting agenda upon us :(
8 ) No, see above. If other gae systems want to create an ETC experience, nothing is holding them back.
9) No. We can remove the two day stipulation, but lets not repeat the mistake by restricting ourselves to a new fixed number...

mvh
Jens
Det er rigtigt! To forskellige stemmer!

Nej ETC skal ikke give overskud. Det vil jeg forslå at det land der organisere eventet evt kan få via slag af sodavan slik øl og lign.
Men lad os for enhver pris undgå at nogle gør ligesom polakkerne igen.
Enig med Asger, især i punkt 3.
1/ Yes
2/ d/ The Warhammer World Championship = WWC sounds a bit like wrestling federation but it is very inclusive and does not just refer to the team tournament, besides you cant call it European anymore as we have teams that are non european
