The first thing I did after getting needed pieces off the sprue was to cut the leg for the purposes for slightly reposing it.

The helmet was "sculpted" from Green Stuff. It is actually the biggest piece I made out of GS to date.

The original plan was to use 2 red LEDs for eyes.  Sadly, because of lack of space in the plastic head itself, that plan had to be changed.

Originally, the armor plates were primed with white and afterwards sprayed with Army Painter bone color spray. Sadly, due to my inexperience with the AP sprays (and how shitty they are), I really did mess it all up, ending with very sandy surface. All the armor pieces were soaked in ethanol and stripped of painted and afterwards re-primed with GW white spray and airbrushed with Light Brown from Vallejo's Model Air.

I used Vallejo's liquid mask to mask off the bone-colored trim before spraying the rest with GW black primer. Do not repeat my mistake.

When removing the color mask, it got left in very many places. It took a lot of time to remove as much as I could, alas, it was looking like crap.

In the end, I had to mask the black areas with masking tape and once again re-prime and airbrush the trims. For all the armor plates.

The base was made out of cork, foam board, green stuff skulls and a dead Chaos Space Marine. I have many of those GS skulls as every time I have left-over GS from other work, I put it in a Instant-mold I made. That leaves me with lots and lots of skulls to use on bases.

Den tog også ret langt tid at lave, blandt andet på grund af eksamner. Men lige så stille og rolig, "bit by bit", blev den færdig.
Det er ikke mening at navnet skal oversættes, men jeg ville bare have noget relateret til fugle og døden. Andre navne som blev overvejet var bla.:
Deadbird.
Totenvogel.
Covus Mortis.
Necrow.
og lign.

Det var heldigt, jeg kom lige forbi og så denne lille genistreg. Knight Approved.
