Anaxagorax

Det blev foreslået at jeg lavede en oversigt over hvor man kan finde de ekstraregler til AE WWII og AE Bounty, som ikke er i regelbøgerne, så here goes. Jeg vil forsøge at holde den opdateret efterhånden som der kommer nye ting.

Det meste er det er bare ekstraregler, som ikke er nødvendige for spillet, men der er også nogle vigtige ændringer og komplette hærlister ind imellem.

Nu jeg er i gang, så vil jeg for god ordens skyld også lige poste de reviderede Detachment-regler her. Darkson er ikke så hurtige til at få smidt en præcis FAQ ud og har en tendens til at lave kopipasta fra gammelt materiale:

The group of models a player brings to battle is called a Detachment. A Detachment and is made up of soldiers and units of varying Training Levels and Troop Types. When selecting forces for their detachment, players begin by selecting a Detachment Type. Each Detachment Type provides players with a basic framework with which to build their force. The Detachment Types determine the number of Slots available in a detachment's composition, how many heroes a detachment automatically receives, if any vehicles can be selected, the number and type of special orders available, as well as a simple theme. Players then choose the units in their detachment to fill the available slots, as well as any other items, such as vehicles and special orders, based on the Detachment Type selected. The process for selecting a Detachment is shown below:

Step 1: Pick a Detachment Type. A detachment type determines the number of slots you have for each training level.

Step 2: If desired, adjust the slots for the detachment type using the Options in the selected detachment. The number of available slots, the number of heroes, the number of special orders and the vehicle role can all be adjusted using the detachment options.

Step 3: Fill each slot with a Unit Selection.

Step 4: Select one or more Heroes for the detachment.

Step 5: If allowed, select any Vehicles that are available to the detachment.

Step 6: Select the Special Orders for the detachment.

Each unit selection fills one available slot in a player's army list. Many units can fill Slots of differing training levels, making them more or less skilled. For example, a player can select an US Army Airborne unit to fill either a Regular or Veteran Slot. Models upgraded in this way benefit from an increase in AP. Players should be able to clearly keep track of the Training Level of their models so that similar models with different training levels are not confused during play. In this way, a player can customize the training levels of their units to best fit a strategy. The available slots for a unit selection may also be upgraded or downgraded to fit in different model selections with different training levels or troop types. Players are not required to use the options to change the training level of a unit selection or a unit.

Players are free to develop their own detachment types based on ideas from movies or books or personal experience in the military. Certain scenarios and campaigns will also call for detachment types that are different from the ones described in this book.

Troop Type Restrictions

Not all Troop Types can be taken in a standard Detachment Composition. Certain conditions must be met to "unlock" these options as available unit selections for a detachment. Players should keep in mind these restrictions when choosing their forces. See the individual army lists as well as the Troop Type descriptions for each troop type's specific restrictions.

Options

In addition to the various choices players make when selecting their forces, each detachment allows players one or more opportunities to further customize their force. With these Options, players can remove a unit selection from their detachment in order to exchange it for an alternative. Players have the option of removing one or more unit selections to exchange them for any of the following:

1. An additional slot of a lower Training Level,
2. Upgrade an existing slot to a higher Training Level,
3. An additional Hero upgrade to an individual model,
4. An additional Special Order,
5. Upgrade an existing vehicle selection's role (Light to Medium, etc).

When a unit is exchanged for another unit of lower TL, this new unit must adhere to any restrictions placed on the detachment, as well as any Troop Type restrictions. The new unit must be at least one TL below the unit being replaced. When a unit or slot is exchanged for another slot of a higher TL, this new slot can only be one TL greater than the slot or unit that was sacrificed for the upgrade. For example, an elite TL slot can be sacrificed for a veteran, regular or green selection. However, a green selection can only be upgraded to a regular selection.

Additional hero upgrades may only be used on Individuals that have the option to be upgraded to a hero. Additional Special Orders may only be selected from those normally allowed to the detachment. Upgrading an existing unit's Training Level may only be done on units that have this option. For example, the SD-13 Abghersoldat may only be taken as a unit of Green models because their description does not have the option to upgrade the unit to a higher training level. A Vehicle's role can also be upgraded in this way, if the vehicle has the option for an upgrade.
